The initiative has raised more than 1,000 euros in donations and aims to become a loudspeaker for the benefit of local associations.
Abast Global has presented a campaign that combines an innovative formula that combines solidarity and tax advantages to support Assandca, the Andorran Association Against Cancer.
According to Helena de Torres, Communications Director at Abast, the initiative takes advantage of the new tax incentives approved in the Personal Income Tax Law, which allows private donors to deduct up to 90% of their contributions up to 100 euros.
This means that a donation of 100 euros has a real cost of only 10 euros for the donor, while Assandca receives the entire amount of the aid. More than 1,000 euros have already been raised through this initiative.
Changes in the Personal Income Tax Law
The company, taking advantage of its specialization in national and international taxation, has proposed this initiative to its entire team and more than fifteen employees have decided to contribute to this solidarity campaign.
Through small individual contributionsIn addition, Abast staff will directly contribute to supporting the services and projects of Assandca, a benchmark in the fight against cancer in the country. In fact, this model seeks to serve as an example to motivate other companies to participate in similar initiatives.
"Among all our colleagues we proposed several associations to make the donations. The two most voted were related to diseases, but finally we chose ASSANDCA" explains Raquel Cornejo, Director of the Corporate department.
Assandca: comprehensive support against cancer
Assandca has been working for years on three main areas: caring for those affected, raising awareness about the disease and promoting volunteering.
With actions throughout the year, such as World Cancer Day or Breast Cancer Day, the association seeks to raise public awareness about the importance of prevention and early detection.
In addition to awareness campaigns, the association devotes its efforts to offering practical and emotional support to patients and their families, through a team of committed volunteers.
The funds raised are used to improve the quality of life of people affected by cancer, alleviating the problems arising from the disease and responding to the needs of patients and their surroundings.
